Day 2 – Plum Negroni
Ingredients:
1oz Highside Gin
1oz Amaro Rosina
.5 oz plum syrup (see instructions below)
Garnish: Orange peel and fresh thyme sprig
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a large mixing glass, add ice, and stir for 10 seconds, or until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass with one large ice cube. Garnish with a twist of orange and a sprig of fresh thyme.
Making the plum syrup:
Juice fresh plums to yield about 2 cups of fresh juice and place in a small sauce pan. Heat on the stove top and boil until the volume has reduce to about ¾ cup. Strain and chill before using.
